As voted by their peers, the other nominees are Sergio Aguero, Gareth Bale, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Danny Welbeck, and Kyle Walker. I'm not sure how "The Ox" can be on this list, considering that he's played like 10 minutes all season.
Fortunately for Daniel, should he win, he wouldn't have to share it with anyone else. It'd be his preciousssss to hog.
As far as the "big" award (the PFA Players' Player of the Year Award), no Chelsea player was nominated. Not surprising. No real surprise in the nominees either: Rooney, van Persie, Silva, Aguero, Joe Hart, and WWI Flying Ace Scott Parker.
