The whole world isn't watching / Wednesday Champions League Open Thread

I could've easily cropped this to just the eyebrow. - Dean Mouhtaropoulos

Carlo Ancelotti, Carlo Ancelotti, Carlo Ancelotti, Carlo Ancelotti...

Just doesn't quite have the same ring to it, does it? We had the clash of titans and the whole world watched. Today we just get mere heavyweights. To make things worse, both Champions League matchups have been just about settled in the first leg, so the tension and the excitement is likely to lag far behind yesterday's. Oh well.

Maybe thinking about tomorrow's super-duper-incomprehensibly-exciting Europa League slate will tide you over (can we start the Twilight/vampire jokes yet about Chelsea & Romania?) as you eye either Juventus vs. Celtic (the Italians hold an unassailable 3-0 lead from the away leg) or PSG vs. Valencia (Zlatan & Co. hold a 2-1 advantage from the away leg and should have no problems advancing despite a truly harsh red card depriving them of Zlatan himself in this one).

Discuss.
