United vs Chelsea: Second half thread

Ugh

I can't think I can ever remember a time in the Roman Abramovich era when Chelsea fans were less excited about a trip to Old Trafford. A game at Wembley awaits the winner, and at this point, it looks almost certain to be the home side.

Chelsea got off to a poor start, and a defensive lapse combined with a poor decision from Petr Cech led to Chelsea trailing just minutes into the contest. A free kick that traveled through a crowd and managed not to touch anyone also nestled into the Chelsea net, and the Blues were down 2-0 in less time than it takes to make a pot of coffee.

The Blues looked better as the half wore on, but with the hole they are in, they'll need to push forward very hard if they want to make a game of this. It will be interesting to see if we make any changes, or just cross our fingers and hope for the best.
