Well, what do we have here? Over the weekend, Malaga were in action against Athletic Bilbao in La Liga, and Piazon was granted his first start for the Spanish side, and boy was he good. After watching the match twice (Once regular speed, once 4x speed), he was undoubtedly the man of the match. He was always well positioned and he provided some very crisp passes and, ultimately, he provided the game-winning assist for Malaga - A delicious cross in from the left wing which was capably pounced on by Saviola. Basically, what I'm saying is that he was flawless.

He was deployed primarily on the left side of the field, but he played through the middle and on the right flank in some portions of the tie. He offered the Malaga left back cover, discouraging any attacking down that side. He was largely excellent when going forward, and almost assisted Isco and bagged one for himself. He only finished the game with a solitary assist, but he deserved much more.

His pace was on full display, as he glided through defenders with regularity, showing maturity beyond his apparent age (Someone kindly tell me HOW THE FUCK THIS GUY'S MY AGE AND THIS GOOD). Brazil seems to be harvesting some good attacking options, with Oscar already fixed in the first team, Neymar commanding record transfer fees in the tabloids and Moura shining after his big-money move to Paris St. Germain. With any luck, Piazon is going to join up with them sooner rather than later because he's THAT GOOD.

Note that I was semi-buzzed and I'm just a Vegas beginner and I'm tired because I had to pull an all-nighter for my typing work, so it's not going to be that pretty.
