A pretty consistent defensive core is evident, with Terry not a part of it due to his injury.

There is no real #1 central midfielder to talk of, instead we see a pretty consistent selection of Hazard and Mata in the wide positions. Oscar has been a victim of sorts under Benitez and this is evident in his recent sub appearances.

Having only one striker shoulder so many of the minutes is folly. The fact that Chelsea's sole striker is named Fernando Torres 3.0 (the inferior version) is bordering on criminal negligence.
