Remember Southampton? Well, after their 2-2 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, they've decided to fire manager Nigel Adkins. Which is of course hilarious. The new manager barely even speaks English, which is sure to inspire the largely English squad to buckle down and ensure Premier League survival (which they were in the process of accomplishing anyway without too many problems, it seemed). Laugh. They host Everton in tonight's Premier League matchup (3 P.M. EST, ESPN3).

Before all that, however, the Chelsea contingent at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations will finally get to play, when Nigeria take on Burkina Faso in Group C. It hasn't exactly been a scintillating AFCON so far, but hopefully John Obi Mikel and Victor Moses (and Kenneth Omeruo?) can inject some excitement. This one starts... RIGHT NOW!... at 1 P.M. EST and is live on ESPN3 as well.
