The Football Supporters Federation is launching a campaign to have away ticket prices capped at £20. This is excellent news. My next away game is Newcastle, and because they are so far up north, it would cost me close to £90 just to get there, on top of the £40-odd match-ticket. Getting to Newcastle from just about anywhere in the country below the Midlands is expensive, so imagine how Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Sunderland fans feel following their clubs across the nation every other week.
