What Chelsea lost out to - Battersea Power Station Penthouse Flats

Property developers SP Setia and Malaysia’s biggest conglomerate and the world’s biggest palm-oil producer Sime Darby purchased Battersea Power Station in June 2012. Wandsworth Council's decision meant that Chelsea missed out on the 38-acre site after identifying it as a potential location for a new 60,000-seater stadium.
