LONDON, ENGLAND - AUGUST 11: Hulk of Brazil lies on the ground showing his dejection after the Men's Football Final between Brazil and Mexico on Day 15 of the London 2012 Olympic Games at Wembley Stadium on August 11, 2012 in London, England. (Photo by Julian Finney/Getty Images)
Well this is a thing. Porto wing-forward and apparent long-term Chelsea target Hulk has finally moved on from the Portuguese club, according to reports in A Bola. His destination? Zenit St. Petersburg:
Google translate tells me that the above means that negotiations between Zenit and Porto as expected to be finalised within the next couple of hours. The first confirmation we'll get of any deal will be the requisite filing of the transfer on the Portuguese stock exchange, so keep an eye out for that -- we can't be completely sure this is happening until we see that. But if Chelsea fans thought that Hulk was happening in January, this looks like bad news.
Personally, I'm not that fussed.
