Chelsea are top of the league - and will be, regardless of what happens - looking down from upon high at all of today's super action.

In the early game, we have on the biggest rivalries in the league. 19-times winner Manchester United travel to Anfield to take 18-times winner Liverpool. It's handshake-gate, part lots! The two sets of fans also have a long history of being nasty to each other, so it'll be interesting to see if they've managed to tone it down as a result of recent events. Liverpool needs a point to climb out of the relegation zone. That's right, they're in the drop zone as of right now. Ha!

Three late games follow, the pick of which is Manchester City vs. Arsenal. Both teams are on eight points and need a victory to keep up with Chelsea's early pace. Huge test for the new-found defensive solidity at the Gunners and they could possibly nick a point off of City who have not looked the sharpest.

Other matches include Newcastle vs. Norwich and Tottenham vs. QPR.
