Purging of the the old guard for the sake of the revolution!

provocative read at Goal.com , regarding Chelsea Legends Frank Lampard and John Terry, wanted to hear the opinions of my people at WAGNH. Here's my opinion, I agree with some of the points, particularly that our midfield lacks in pace and that lampards position as a deep lying playmaker is not his best, his distribution and creativity has not left him and I still feel is of a high standard but his forays forward (which his known for) can leave mikel exposed. Where I disagree is the way lampard was basically blamed for the atletico madrid loss when the chelsea squad all decided to switch off for the night. Also disagree with the idea that ramires is the solution, yeah his got the pace, but creativity, ball distribution, passing range. Lampard beats him in these categories,if only we got modric :'( . Completely disagree about Terry, performs well when paired with luiz, cahill or ivanovic. In fact, I think he brings out the best in them and his leadership qualities cannot be underestimated. With all the controversy going on in his personal life, he would never allow it to affect his performance on the pitch, a true professional. Anyway I'm rambling on, that's my 2 cents whats yours? As always KTBFFH!
