Chelsea were linked to Moura several times over the winter, and had also been confirmed to have bid a significant amount of money on the young Brazilian. It appears that pursuit is over for the time being though, as PSG have announced today that Moura will be joining the French outfit in January. While the need for Moura was substantially reduced by the signings of Oscar and Eden Hazard, Moura is still a dynamic young prospect with world class potential. Moura will be eligible for the Champions League when he arrives, so should PSG make it out of the group stage they will have another dynamic weapon to add to the attack.

This can probably be considered good news for Chelsea fans, as Moura was also heavily linked to Premier League rivals Manchester United. Moura snubbing United assures that they now have to move on to other options, and frankly I don't see them being linked to anyone with the potential and youth of Moura. While seeing Moura join a growing European power makes PSG a much tougher opponent, it's far preferable to seeing him join United and squaring off against Chelsea at minimum twice a year.

And just like that, Oscar is no longer the largest signing ever out of Brazil.
