Many of you may not be familiar with the young midfielder, but Ruben was having a very promising start to the season last year before suffering a serious hip injury that caused him to miss all but the final game of the FA Youth Cup run. To date, Loftus-Cheek has made 17 appearances for the U18's, notching 5 goals in that time. This morning, the youngster treated us to this:

This is pretty excellent news, as there was some speculation in the past year that a certain Spanish club had interest in adding Loftus-Cheek as well as a pair of clubs in Manchester.
