We pretty much knew this was done, but Yossi Benayoun has confirmed it for us. Yossi will be joining West Ham United on loan for the entire 2012/13 season. Here it is from the man himself:
But I'm very happy to confirm that I will join on loan to West Ham! Can't wait to start..great club.

Unlike the Michael Essien loan, I don't think we'll find any Chelsea fans that are even remotely upset about losing Benayoun. It's nice to see that Yossi wasn't sent to a legitimate contender this season, and hopefully he'll even help West Ham nick a few points off of our rivals this year.
When all is said and done, this has to be one of the most disappointing signings in Chelsea's history. When Carlo added him, he managed to stay around for exactly one injury riddled season. Oh well, sometimes signings just don't work out. Best of luck with the rest of your career Yossi, have fun at West Ham.
