There's some good games on today for those of you interested. Yesterday saw five of the ten spots available from the qualification route to the Champions League filled, and today will see the five remaining slots filled. All five Champions League games kick off at 19:45 BST, so roughly two and a half hours later the pots should be set. Graham and I will have a whole bunch of stuff for you later tonight on how the pots shook down, but for now just sit back and enjoy the games. Here's what we have on tap:
Lille vs. FC Copenhagen (0-1 agg)
Celtic vs. Helsingborg (2-0 agg)
Fenerbahce vs. Spartak Moscow (1-2 agg)
Dynamo Kiev vs. Borussia Monchengladbach (3-1 agg)
CFR Cluj vs. Basel (2-1 agg)
In addition to the Champions League qualifier, there's also the little matter of the Spanish Super Cup to be settled. Barcelona will head to Madrid with a 3-2 aggregate lead, but I think it's safe to assume that goals will be scored in this one. I'd assume as the end draws near, we might even see some sort of temper tantrums beginn to erupt from the side that doesn't appear destined to win. As always, it will be entertaining. Keep it clean, no links to illegal streams, and have fun.
