There was an interesting FanPost that was main paged a few days ago about John Terry's waning performance levels for Chelsea. I know this is an ongoing debate, and there are those that still rate him as our best centre back (myself included) and those that think we should already be phasing him out. But what about when he actually is on the way out?
I have to admit that the idea of supporting Chelsea with JT as our permanent captain is an odd one, such has been his influence on the club over the last decade. It does raise an interesting dilemma however, considering that both he and Lampard probably won't be at the club in a few seasons time, who would your choice be as the new captain?
For the choices below, I've left off players that I believe are too old to be considered for the change which most probably won't happen for a few years.
Choose away!
