Chelsea FC Players in International Action

11

Apparently we're all lazy/non-caring/busy bums/drunks/dedicated-worker-bees, so hop on over to the official Chelsea site to read their quick recap of all the Chelsea players involved in Wednesday's ill-timed International Friendlies. I only watched the first half of Spain's ridiculous exercise in Puerto Rico, wherein Fernando Torres did his usual things: dallying on the ball, taking too many touches, seeing shots (a header in this case) saved by rather miraculous goalkeeping, and not getting the calls from the referee when he gets fouled in the box. For some reason he ended up playing the full 90, which is baffling. If you watched any of the action (like Frank Lampard leading England to victory with Ryan Bertrand winning his first cap), chime in with your assessment in the comments.
