The Hulk transfer rumours that occupied the early part of the summer have died down recently, what with Chelsea chasing other targets like Cesar Azpilicueta and Wigan Athletic winger Victor Moses. It wasn't entirely clear why things were so quiet -- it's possible that the Blues lost interest, that they never had interest, or that the Olympics meant a quieter period.
It sounds like we have an answer now though:
I have left a door open for being transferred to another league. I have preference for playing in the Premier League or the Spanish Liga, because they are the two leagues that are the most seen all over the world.
I didn't talk too much with my agent about the chance of being transferred, because I have been on duty with the Brazilian national team at the Olympics. But I am going to talk about my future from Monday. My future is in the hands of God.

So, Monday will be fun. Crank up the Hulk rumourmatron! I wasn't overly impressed with the Brazilian's performances at the 2012 Olympics, and neither was Mano Menezes, who ended up dropping him for Porto teammate Alex Sandro in the semifinal and final. However, Hulk did finally turn on the class when he came on as a substitute against Mexico, scoring Brazil's consolation goal as they slipped to a silver medal. He's a good player and would definitely help Chelsea -- it just remains to be seen whether or not the Blues are willing to pay what Porto want for him.
