Well, we finally found out where Lukaku will be plying his trade this season. It will be interesting to see how this young lad will perform given adequate time on the field in the Premier League. I think that is the most important part of this, that he will be playing in the Premier League and gaining experience here, not somewhere else. This kid has a lot of promise and has shown tons of potential. However, there is some competition here, Peter Odemwingie and Shane Long are no pushovers. Between the two of them they scored 18 goals last season (10 for Peter, 8 for Shane). Unless West Brom sell one of these guys, Lukaku will have to impress Steve Clarke to show that he is worthy of starting. If they keep both of these strikers, then Lukaku's only shot will be to outplay Shane Long because I just can't see Peter riding the bench. He's too valuable and is a proven goalscorer. I would love to see Lukaku play up front next to Peter. He can learn a lot from him and will give West Brom a nice 1-2 punch up front.

How do you guys think he will do and do you think he will do enough to warrant a starting place over either of the 2 strikers mentioned here? I know one thing, I will be following West Brom very very closely this season. Should be exciting.
