In the OT thread,I saw my twin theRamster,Kevin et al discuss their best FIFA/ FM experiences,so felt a thread for widespread discussion was necessary.So,come and join the sharing fest y'all.

I'm not an FM enthusiast by any means,just starting to learn it,but in FIFA I'm quite a force to be reckoned with.This particular FIFA 12 memory is with Wolves on Legendary difficulty level and belongs to my 3rd Manager Mode season.

I was playing against Manchester United using Wolves,it was near the tail end of the season.My Wolves team needed a win every match left to qualify for the FIFA version of the CL,Man Utd were at the top of the table,with Chelsea trailing them by 2 pts.If I won this game,it would essentially be killing two birds with the same stone,getting Wolves in CL contention and getting my beloved CFC at no.1 in the table

.My starting lineup was - Hennessey; Stearman - Johnson -Cahill - Bertrand ; O'Hara - Milijas - Kightly -Jarvis ; Sordel l- Fletcher.

United started piling on the pressure from kickoff,and a Pato brace and a Rooney goal meant they were 3 up before HT.Then O'Hara pulled one back from a free-kick.HT.

In the second half,Sordell sped past Jones to slot one past De Gea and the game was back alive,but alas,not for long. Pato completed his hatrick and Smalling scored from a corner to put Utd firmly in control at 5-2. Then Fletcher won a penalty and O'Hara scored again.5-3. Soon Jarvis would find himself 1-on1 against De Gea only to hit the upright,but O'Hara again plonked home the attempted clearance from distance. 5-4 . Then the game tended to die a bit,but Wolves drew level at 5-5 from another shot from distance,this time by Matt Jarvis. Soon we entered stoppage time,and right before the end,Sordell won me a corner. O'Hara whipped it in. Fletcher met it,it met the net,I shouted loudly and felt something thrown by dad hit my head.

As the season ended Wolves qualified for CL,but CFC choked against Birmingham on the final day to hand Utd the title.
