First ever fan post. Still a teenager, so not expecting some to agree but....

-I really think the only thing we need now is a cheap back up Striker. Players like Moses, Ba, Remy and Berbatov spring to mind. Players who wouldn't mind not playing every game, but always have an eye for goal.

-Controversially, I still don't think Right Back is a problem. I haven't since we got rid of the car crash that is Jose Bosingwa. We have two home grown (IMO future England players) on our roster. Sam Hutchinson and Todd Kane. Hutch has looked rusty, and Kane is inexperienced. But save your money Robbie and Roman, and give them first team game time. They will learn from Ivanovic, much like what Bertrand has done with Ashley Cole. Azpilcueta is a fantastic option, but he will only force these two out of the first team for the considerable future.

- The double pivot (If we are to play that, RDM looks pretty smitten with it) needs work with the 'midfield destroyer'. We have Romeu, Mikel and Essien and all three have problems. For one, Romeu needs time to develop, so he will be largely a part player this season, starting against the weaker teams. He is though the best defender out of these three. Mikel needs to improve his defensive positioning dramatically. Simple things like tracking back, covering players and working harder on the transition from defence to attack will fix this. If Essien were to return to anywhere near his old form (Blockbuster tackles, tireless energy), he would be the starter alongside Lampard/Oscar/Ramires/Merelies
