We had this in rumour form earlier in the day, but now it's getting more legitimate. The Oscar transfer looks like it will be finalised by the end of this week, meaning that Chelsea should indeed be able to sign the 20-year-old before the Olympics end. That news comes from the ever-watchful Paulo Freitas, who's been covering the saga on Twitter and Sky Sports:
#Internacional's president Giovanni Luigi has now confirmed to press here that he wants to finalize the transfer of Oscar to #CFC by Friday.

Not that it's not finalising the Oscar decision -- that, presumably, has already been done. Barring something absolutely insane, Oscar is coming to Chelsea, and now it's just a matter of time until it's announced. We've had a transfer fee agreed, a medical, confirmation from Internacional, not-so-veiled hints from the player and the manager... now it's just a matter of the Chelsea TV interview and we'll have a shiny new toy to play with. Maybe we'll get it on Friday. Hurray!
