Sky Sports just tweeted something relevant to Chelsea fans that might otherwise get lost in a very interesting news day. Here's the tweet in question:

While this hasn't yet been confirmed by either club, a 6 month loan to the Championship would seem to be an ideal scenario for Gordon. Ben has only 12 months to run on his deal at Chelsea, and a chance to show his stuff at one of the better clubs in the second tier could go a long way towards boosting his stock for the future. The loan roundups for the fall are already getting pretty long. As with all of our youngsters on loan, we'll be wishing Gordon the best of luck.
