The Daily Mail is reporting that we've basically finished all of the odds and ends involved in the Oscar deal. We've had all sorts of reports that Oscar has had his medical, and in the past few hours we've started to see reports that he has passed. it. The Daily Mail has taken it one step further though:

Oscar has completed a medical and been granted a work permit as he closes in on a £25million move to Chelsea.

The work permit news is great, as Oscar still did not have enough International appearances for the senior team in Brazil to be automatically granted it. While it was likely only a formality anyway, it's still nice to know that potential hurdle is out of the way. Hopefully this is true, but we'll be watching for an official announcement to come later today.
