I thought it might be cool to organize a NYC WAGNH Community Members Meet-Up for those interested in such a thing, since I would expect at least some of you will be in the area for the Chelsea vs PSG game on July 22. Details after the jump!

The game kicks off at 7:00 PM (Eastern), but the fan zone will be opening up as early as 3 PM, which I fully plan on checking out before the game. As per Chelsea's email if you're on their email list, the UEFA CL Trophy and the FA Cup will be on display in the Fan Zone, along with a bunch of other cool stuff, so if you have time to get to the Bronx early, that's definitely worth checking out. It will be on Yankee Stadium property, right outside the stadium, although the final location hasn't been announced yet. However, being a Yankees season ticket holder and knowing the area quite well, the only place that really makes any sense to me as far as a possible the location is on 161 street, between Jerome Ave and River Ave. In any case, if you ask any of the staff on the day of the game, I'm sure they'll be able to direct you.

After checking out the Fan Zone, most of the NY Blues (the official Chelsea supporters club of NYC) will be congregating at The Dugout (880 River Ave, near the McDonald's) around 5:00 - 5:30 PM for some pre-game drinks and songs / chants (and they'll be selling Chelsea in American merchandise as well). This, to me, seems like the perfect place where we could make any sort of NYC pre-game WAGNH meet up happen.
