Well ive been thinking about are central midfield area of our team and the type of players we need. Everyone knows that lampard as a 33 year old cant play every game so eventually someone has to replace him, so i think we need someone to play in the double pivot alongside ramires/Mikel/Romeu. Someone who is a play maker with an eye for goal. So this is why i suggest either Option 1. Nuri Sahin or Option 2. Yohan Cabaye, Both are great players. Lets start with option 1. Nuri sahin is a 24 year old Midfielder that can/does play in the pivot in real Madrids team. His season with RM has not gone that well with injuries and Xabi alonso playing superbly with a great partnership with Sami Khediera. He won the bundesliga player of the year in 10/11 and has great range of passing, good shooting, can take set pieces and tends to sit deep plus he wont cost all that much. Option 2. Cabaye. Yohan has had a great season with Newcastle and has been one of their if not the most important player of their team. Like sahin he can play in the pivot, he is also 26 years old. Cabayes strengths are his passing, set pieces, long shots, and vision both would be great signings and would cost 20 million and under.
