Recently, I've noticed an increase in the amount of FanPosts used to ask a question, do a survey of WAGNH reader, or something which would be more at home in the Off Topic Thread. It seems that there are a lot of you who don't go in the Off-Topic Threads because of the free nature of discussion, and out of fear that a discussion would get easily lost in there.

The FanPosts are designed mostly to provide a space for users to write pieces expressing opinions not covered on the front page. WAGNH has developed a large community recently, but it lacks the capacity for a real forum to support it. This is the reason, I feel behind the increasing use of FanPosts. That's why I've created the Q&A Thread. To be a forum for users to interact with other users and have discussions about Chelsea which neither fit any of the topics of the stories on the main page, nor are the inspiration for an opinion piece.

This is an experiment designed to reduce the turnover on the FanPosts, allowing users' pieces to remain on the front page longer, rather than being quickly shuffled off by FanPosts merely seeking information. My intent is not to scare you off using the FanPosts, just to provide an easier way for you guys to ask questions of each other than having to write a FanPost. : )

As in the OTT, there will be a 1000-comment limit, and the site's content rules should be followed. Basically, keep it clean and keep it civil!
