In the second match of the second round of Euro 2012 games, hosts Poland take on first round surprise Russia, who can qualify for the knockout stage with a win today, though not yet as group winners. They would have 6 points, the Czech Republic 3 points, and Poland and Greece tied in third on a single point.
For Poland a win is essential to avoid having to beat the Czech Republic in the the final match and hope Russia defeat Greece. If Poland can win or draw, this group will be blown wide open, with qualification being determined on the final day of Group A games.
Chelsea Interests: Former Blue Yuri Zhirkov and rumoured transfer target Alan Dzagoev.
