Hazard, a winger, is 4 years younger, and lacks strength, but is gifted with pace, great trickery, and fantastic vision. Hulk is 25, so still young, and is the kind of player who (much like Drogba, I believe) will peak later thank most. Very, very strong, pacy, and tricky winger with an absolute BEAST of a left foot. Think Ronaldo, but not as good (yet?). Both are in weaker leagues than the PL, but that doesn't degrade Hazard's vision and Hulk's shooting (which I think are their best attributes).
Weaknesses/Strengths summary -
Hazard: physically weak, low work rate, poor finisher, poor defensively, not a very strong shot outside the box; fantastic dribbler, great balance, great vision and pace, creative. Can play on both wings (prefers left, definitely) and I think he can play in the hole
Hulk: temperament can be questioned (angered easily, sometimes takes his frustration out during the game), poor defensively (but has the skills to contribute), often chooses to shoot rather than pass; fast, very skillful with the ball at his feet, very strong (you cannot get him off the ball), great finisher, dead ball specialst (fantastic free kick and penalty taker), one of the best shots from distance in the world, and possibly the hardest shot in the world with his left foot (as seen in this goal against Benfica).
I choose Hulk. I don't think we need a diva on the team, and I think Hazard might just be a massive diva. No conclusive evidence, just his general laziness on the field, petulance (his own coach took him off the squad for a while because of this), and general annoyingness. Hulk has the counterattacking ability, combined with an eye for both poaching and the spectacular, that makes him the perfect fit for the team. I also think Hulk has the higher ceiling.
