We defended. And we defended. And we defended. And they missed. And they missed. And they missed. And then they scored. Thomas Mueller broke my heart. Petr Cech and Ashley Cole combined to let him head in off the crossbar. There were eight minutes to go. We had lost.
And then suddenly, we didn't. Chelsea earned a dubious corner and an absolutely brilliant header from Didier Drogba saw the ball in off Manuel Neuer at the near post. 1-1. 88th minute. Chelsea on top. We couldn't put things away in normal time... but now we have another 30 minutes.
