One of my Catalan friends has informed me that Droggles' agent has conveyed to Catalan television that he is negotiating with Zubi and Barcelona at the request of Drogba himself. The local media is stirring with rumors of a possible two year, 6m a year deal. If true, this means the interest is mutual and Droggles wants to join Barca, for whatever reason (more trophies?).

Naturally, I was a bit skeptical. I couldn't see Drogs joining Barca, but then again, I couldn't see Henry joining Barca either. I did some googling and apparently The Sun (I know, I know) are running with the story. That's as far as my knowledge goes on the subject, but it does bring up an interesting question:

Would you be upset if Drogba joined Barca? (Let's assume that he was 100% not going to stay)

Personally, no, I wouldn't be. I'd be watching every Barca game with him in it, I'll tell you that. I'm curious to see how he would do in a tiki-taka environment. With Messi, Xavi, and Iniesta feeding him, The Drog would probably score more than Ronaldo!
