Luiz named to Brazil squad, Ramires left out

Mano Menezes has named his 23 man squad for Brazil's upcoming friendlies in advance of the 2012 Olympic games. With 17 of the 23 players named being U23 eligible, you'd have to assume this is a squad with a look ahead to the games. Teams are allowed to add three players who do not qualify as U23, and it appears Luiz is in the running for one of those spots. Get well soon sideshow, Olympic gold would pair nicely with a Champions League winners medal.
