I don't think Daniel Sturridge had a reasonable case of winning the PFA Young Player of the Year award, but I certainly wasn't expecting him to lose out to Kyle Walker. Robin van Persie has won the grown-up version, anyway, and that one, at least, is well-deserved after a fantastic season.
