As we know all too well, Chelsea’s foundation of players is getting older(Lampard/Malouda). Couple that with the poor performance (pretty much everybody not named Ramires or Essien) of this season as well as AVB’s recent exit and it seems that CFC is going to be in the market for a new midfielder(or 2). Keeping in mind the upcoming FFP rules aren’t going to allow the club to throw truckloads of money at prospective players anymore, and Graham’s 2 contract idea (which does make both long-term financial and team? sense) who are some of the midfielders that you would like to see Chelsea target?
