Well in retrospect that was more fun than a boring old 2-0 win. Chelsea were cruising against a weak Aston Villa team with goals by Daniel Sturridge and Branislav Ivanovic before the home side suddenly burst into life and scored twice in a matter of minutes. We barely had time to feel miserable about going from 2-0 up to 2-2 before Branislav Ivanovic got another goal and although Villa threatened, Fernando Torres did excellently to make things safe in injury time, scoring his third Premier League goal of the season.

Not much you can say about that game apart, possibly, from 'wow'. It wasn't a great Chelsea performance by any stretch of the imagination, but it was certainly a spirited one - a few months ago and we would not have won this match. Great work by the boys to contain and then beat the fightback from a team that's had our number recently.
