It's kind of a big game this morning. A win puts us just 2 points behind 4th and likely in good shape as far as the tiebreaker goes. A loss puts us 8 back with 8 to go. A draw obviously just maintains the status quo. This one is about as close to a must win as we'll have this season, and Roberto Di Matteo is clearly aware of that fact. With that in mind, he ran out a very strong looking lineup for today:
Chelsea: Cech; Bosingwa, Cahill, Terry, Cole; Lampard, Essien; Sturridge, Mata, Ramires; Drogba
Subs: Turnbull, Luiz, Mikel, Meireles, Malouda, Kalou, Torres
Spurs: Friedel; Walker, Kaboul, Gallas, Assou-Ekotto; Modric, Parker, Sandro , Bale; Van der Vaart; Adebayor.
Subs: Cudicini, Nelsen, Livermore,Rose, Dos Santos,Defoe, Saha
We're playing well, Spurs are not. They haven't won here since 1990. We look to be the healthier team. We need this win. Anything less than 3 points today will be a major disappointment, so hopefully we can find ourselves a little of the energy we had against Napoli. Keep it clean, no illegal links, no trolling, and Let's Go Blues! I'll have a new thread up at the half...
