Chelsea have been active in South America over the past several years, and if news out of Colombia is to be believed we're on the verge of completing another move today. Jhoao Rodriguez is a 15 year old striker who currently is a regular for the Colombian U17 squad. Other than that I can't really tell you much about him, but I can give you 20 minute plus of video highlights to watch...*

Well it's not hard to like what we see there, but I suppose that's the case with most highlight compilations. There's also very little way to confirm this news, so at the moment I'd be taking this with a grain of salt. If true, Rodriguez would not be eligible to play for Chelsea until May of 2014 when he turns 18, so confirmation of this deal may be pretty slow in coming out. It will be something to keep an eye on however, Graham and I will keep you informed as we hear more.
