I'm not entirely sure why Ramires isn't with Brazil, but he'll sit round of fixtures out. So too will Frank Lampard, Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba, with the latter nursing a knee injury picked up against Bolton. John Terry is, of course a long-term absentee for England thanks to his knee problem.
