Hello WAGNH world. This is just a simple off-topic thread. Basically I am just curious to see the playing history of some of the members here. I know it's a different story for everyone, as the members of this wonderful blog are from all over the world, but that should bring some diversification to the party. I guess I'll give you a brief history of my playing days and let some of you follow with your own!
I played for St. Louis Scott Gallagher club team in, you guessed it, St. Louis, MO for my entire club career (U10-U23). I attended Christian Brothers College High School (CBC), and played under the all-time winningest coach in America, Terry Michler. From there I accepted a scholarship to the newly promoted D1 school Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (SIUE, they got screwed not making the ncaa tourny this year). I played there for two years before taking an elbow to the throat, dislocating my adams apple. That kind of ended my days playing at a high level, and I transfered to University of Missouri (Mizzou) to enjoy my college experience while I am still young. I play club ball here, just to stay sharp and fit. I was relatively decent wingback in my opinion, always valued the assist over the goals. It's interesting to see a lot of my former teammates and guys i used to play against going pro or playing in the college cup finals.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing about everyone else's careers!
