Anybody who has read some of my fan posts about what our team lacks, transfer targets etc will know that Hummels is always at the top of my list. I find it difficult, but I understand that some people may not think that he is that good, but I have found a few video's to show you otherwise. I just want to convince everybody that he is as good as I think so I would hope that you all can watch these videos.

I think that he is one of the best passers of the ball in the world. Not just defenders, any position. He is incredibly solid in almost every aspect. Strong in the air, strong on the ground, great anticipation. He had a bit of a dip of form near the start of the 12-13 season. Even when he isn't his usual self, I still think that he is probably the best in the world and the rock that our next 6/7 years can be built upon.

We need to add some more German steel to the squad. I would consider him a massive bargain at any price under €30 million. He is the type of player that Benitez would love as I see him as a better version of Agger (who would be great for Chelsea anyways).
