I can't help but feel that a pending move for another 50 million dollar striker may be a mistake. It has been well documented already, the up and down form of one Fernando Torres. As Chelsea supporters we can all recall a certain Ukranian who also flopped in Blue. There are many opinions on the current potential move for Falcao. He is afterall a phenom in front of goal, succeeding in both Portugal and Spain. My point is that another 50 million dollar risk could be damning, to the team and certainly to Fernando Torres. Personally I believe purchasing a younger, talented striker with potential around 20 million would be much more appropriate. I think that we all could name off a few strikers that would be around this price that seem a logical fit. Don't get me wrong, Falcao looks excellent, like the real deal, I do however think it would be tough to replicate such numbers in the BPL.
