It has just come to our attention that Manchester City have made a £97.9 million loss for the year 2011-2012.

Clubs in Europe are allowed a total of a £45m loss between the years of 2011-13 in order to comply with UEFA's Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations, meaning that for 2012-13, City will need to make a £52.9million profit.

Clearly that is not achievable with their recent exit from the Champions League (and Europa League) combined with their now unlucrative long-term deal with Etihad and their ridiculous wage bills. So what do you think this means for them?

Do we expect to see Uefa exlcude them from the Champions League or the likes of Platini bottle it and hand City an exemption? This now seems to be their only hope of compliance with FFP....

I for one am very pleased with this revelation, it goes to show just how far and well Chelsea have come since the initial days of our Russian Revolution. The club seems to be in very good hands, at least certainly in comparison to one of our Manchester rivals!
