Never say never, but it's not clear how much we would be able to achieve in the Premier League this season. Given that the primary argument against taking the Europa League semi-seriously is its adverse affect on domestic performances could it be worth it to take the Europe League seriously if the title seems out of reach anyway and 2nd/3rd the only viable option this season?

Just a thought, not advocating giving up on the title challenge just yet too early for that.
