So next year I'll be departing the great lands of Australia and heading over to England with my brother with the intention of seeing Chelsea play in the flesh for the first time ever - we arrive in early February with Wigan at home the first match scheduled during our trip. We'll be over in Europe for ten weeks and lots of travelling is certainly on the agenda, but seeing as many Chelsea games as possible live is our priority, even if some of those games are likely to feature Viktoria Plzen as opponents in Chelsea's valiant quest for Europa League triumph.

Seeing as we've got such a wide ranging community here, I thought a few people might be able to share their experiences and pass on some advice on how to get tickets and how to have the best match day experience possible, because as you might imagine we're complete novices at this sort of thing, and nothing beats the words of those who know it first-hand.
