The image of Di Matteo and the shadow of Pep Guardiola

There have been rumours of late of Pep guardiola's apparent interest in joining Chelsea. Now as much as i love RDM, i cant say that the prospect of Guardiola is a bit tempting.Don't get me wrong,i dont want RDM to go, neither would i approve* his sacking just because Guardiola is available.

*not that my approval matters, unless Abramovich is an ardent follower of the happennings at WAGNH

An argument with a friend steered me to this topic the other day,his main point being that RDM has done all he could for Chelsea. He argued RDM couldnt find the balance of the team right and that he was wasting the attacking talent at his disposal

Personally,i believe that di matteo has more to offer chelsea and that finding the balance has been what he has been trying to achieve. We need to understand that regardless of our good start,we are still a team in transition and more work has to be done especially in maintaining team shape and defending as a team.

That being said, the prospect of Guardiola at Chelsea is mouthwatering and it would be interesting how he'll set up the team and ho we'd play.It is unfair though that the shadow of Guardiola will constantly be lurking behind RDM no matter what he achieves at Chelsea.
