I have been reading a lot about how Roberto Mancini has been trying to lure De Rossi to Man City since the beginning of last transfer window, in the news we heard how Roma coach Zdenek Zeman and De Rossi reported clashed after a loss and now wants out. Of course Roma would have an asking price for him and would look to get the most back in return. Now what if Chelsea and Man city (arguably the 2 richest clubs in England) get into a bidding war for him?

Why do I like De Rossi? He is a box to box midfielder, he is very aggressive while winning the ball. He can play defensive but add a lot to the attacking side of the ball, his long distance shot and passes also cannot be rivaled. One of his weaknesses though? He is just a plain hot-head, he gets worked up. Now that can fuel his play, but it also can allow him to get useless yellow cards or even red cards at times. Marcello Lippi a former italian world cup winning manager and made this comparison, "Daniele is already one of the most complete midfielders in the world. He is not inferior to either Frank Lampard or Steven Gerrard of England."
He would look great in our system to me and add that defensive midfielder edge that we really need, I also believe that Roman will break the bank in January to instantly boost our club. I fully expect Falcao to be here as well
