The case for RDM's firing had more to do with Emenalo, and less to do with Roberto

Let me just say i'm not advocating for michael emenalo to be fired nor was i in agreement with RDM's firing specially if the club does not have a solid back up plan.

Michael emenalo is in his second year as technical director and there is no doubt the has done a great job, signings like KDB, Thorgan, oscar, Azpilicueta, etc have shown that his scouting abilities are well in par to what chelsea should have in a director, so that part makes me very happy.

But then there is biggest mistake, regardless whether it was the higher ups who ask him to trim the depth chart due to lower the salary budget or that modric or other plans never translated, you never get rid of something without having a backup plan, something that you can go to. He got rid of meireles, benayoun, essien, without signing any other player, so in reality we build our wings enough so that we are solid for the next 6-8 years but our midfield and our fowards give us no room for failure, and this is where it all started for RDM

RDM is not the perfect coach by far, i had issues with his lack of rotation, his very late substitutions and his unwillingness to try something more than a 4-2-3-1, but he is a good coach. And the thing that he does best which is identify players weakness, he can't amend them because like i said before there is no backup player to go to.

Again i wanna reiterate my full support of emenalo, but i believe he messed up on that, and at the end it ended up costing rdm who i think would have been fired at some point anyways due to our shady plans, and lack of settling on a damn coach.

Sorry for my english its not my first language, but i try. Have a great day, and KTBFFH!!!
