Plains Of Almería - Di Matteo Sacking Says More About Club’s Flaws Than The Manager’s

Looking at this whole fiasco objectively, Di Matteo is certainly not the one losing in it. He's off to a holiday - probably Carribean or something - with some fat paycheck coming in weekly for the next one and a half year. Sure he must have been hurting a bit - parting ways with a club he loves - but there would be one point in time where you'd just say, "Fuck it. Whatever." and go on calculating the net benefits. Chelsea FC on the other hand is in for a yet another rough ride. At least for a few days. There are so many questions unanswered on things that happened, things that are happening and things that will happen. Well, to be perfectly honest I can somewhat rationalize the club actions as I think many others do too but there are still the looming questions of what comes next or how would this affect the dressing room. And it is interesting to see as well how far would the fans go to demonstrate their disdain at this whole shenanigans. Not sure how this rant is relevant to the post I'm linking to, but I'm pretty baked and there is this space so I hath written. I guess it mirrors my thought a bit. Good read.
