Chelsea head into Saturday just 1 point behind Manchester United who have once again, somehow, magicked their way to the top of the Barclays Premier League. As the only Top 3 team in action, they have a good chance to extend their lead. Kicking off in the late slot (12:30 PM EST), they travel to Birmingham to face semi-crap Aston Villa who are sitting just above the relegation zone with 9 points from their first 10 matches. Not good.
There's no super early (i.e. lunchtime) kickoff this weekend but six are scheduled for the traditional 3 PM slot (10 AM EST): Arsenal v. Fulham - both, surprisingly, on 15 points; Everton v. Sunderland; Reading v. Norwich City; Southampton v. Swansea City; Stoke City v. QPR - a battle of unlikables; Wigan v. WBA - a battle of likables.
