Will Lampard continue to be happy with current role?

Ever since the introduction of Oscar is has been apparent that Frank Lampard's role on this team had been changed. Now I know that there was a recent article on here stating that Lampard was content with this new role. But I am skeptical on how he will feel as the season goes on, no doubt he will get plenty of time, whether it be in CL, Cup games or coming on as a sub. I am also confident that he will get his time in big games where his leadership and experience is needed. He will probably continue to play a role in training as well, he has a lot to teach these young players. But will this be enough to satisfy Lampards passion for football? As a player you always want to be on the pitch helping your mates win, but you also have to respect the judgement of the coach and who he plays and when he plays them. Matteo is handling the issue of Lampards time and role on the team much better than AVB did. Matteo is carrying out his order of making the team younger, this is not the only order he has been given but it is the one I am talking about. Lampard may be happy now, but I am skeptical on how long this attitude will last, he wants to play and he has proven time and time again that he deserves time on the pitch. Yet there could be a bright side to this situation Lampard finds himself in. This very well could add longevity to his career, Lampard is not young but he is not old, he finds himself in some limbo in between. He still has time to continue playing at this top level. He could always play in the double pivot, but at the time Ramires may be the most in form player on the squad and Mikel has been playing well enough to stay in the starting 11, despite some large mistakes. It seems Mikel is going to keep that role despite what fans may think, he will make mistakes from time to time and is horrible under pressure, but in most cases he is very solid. To me, Matteo is helping Lampard become a Giggs or Scholes, which is what I would like to see, I NEVER want Lampard to leave. I've only been following Chelsea for 8 years now, growing up in Texas I did not have access to the channels that carry the games until I was 13. But since the first time I saw Chelsea play I immediatly fell in love with Lampard. Since the first time I saw him play I have tried to emulate his game and now that I am playing in college I am still trying to play like Lampard. I always knew the day that Lampards role on the team would change but I never thought it would be so hard for me to accept. I hope that he stays happy and gets plenty of time this season. Love me or hate me, I don't care. These are my thoughts and opinions, feel free to comment and share yout thoughts with me as I am always interested in hearing the opinions of my peers.
